So I’ve been a little slack with my reviewing on here, and I’ve not gotten around to posting all my Australian Women Writers (AWW) 2014 reviews yet, so here’s my round up post with their details, but keep your eyes peeled for reviews in early 2015 (while I catch up on my backlog).
This year, I read 22 books by Australian women writers, that’s one more than last year in total. My reading list was dominated by romance, thanks to Steam eReads who provided a large number of Aussie Romance books for me to read.
Favourite AWW2014 book goes to…
The only AWW2014 book to get 5 stars, and also one of only three this year in my 93 books.
Least favourite:
While there was one AWW2014 book I couldn’t finish (Inside the Fire by R. M. Grace) Fiona McCallum’s sequel in the button jar series was rated the lowest this year.
AWW2014 read books (in read order):
Finding Billie ★★★
The Dumped Club ★★★
Money for Blood ★★★★
Stalking Shadows ★★★
Inside the Fire DNF
Secrets in Time ★★★★
Aurealis #72 ★★★
Aurealis #74 ★★★★
Aurealis #75 ★★★
Puppy Love ★★★
Saving Grace ★★★
Behind the Wattles ★★★★
Bloodlines ★★★★★
Manslaughter and other tears ★★★★
I have reviewed all of the books this year (with the exception of Bloodlines. The review is scheduled out on 21st Jan 2015). All up, another great year of reading and I’m heading right off now to join up for AWW2015.
Have you signed up for the AWW2015 challenge yet?
Well done! It’s wonderful to see support for AWW! 😀
Do you participate Dianne?
No I haven’t (officially) so far, but I need to get into it – there are so many excellent AWWs out there 🙂
There sure are!! The franklin cgallenge us to read 10 books and review at least six of them. 🙂
Congratulations! And thanks for your participation in the AWW challenge. So glad you’re signing up for 2015 (and that we have a romance specialist).
Thanks Lizzy 🙂 Signed up and ready to go, though I’m not sure my list will be as romance based in 2015.
