It’s cover reveal time…
Surprisingly, this is my first ever cover reveal post. Or, not so surprisingly as some of you may have seen me teasing you a little on my Facebook page, sharing this little secret a few days ago.
This special story was a number of firsts for me. It was my first official Beta read, it was my first look behind the scenes at the editing process of an author I admire (I also adore his work!) and it’s my first ever cover reveal.
So, without further ado, here we go…
Isn’t that a stunning cover?
The great thing about Medusa is, the cover isn’t the only thing that’s amazing.
Lissa Two is a thief of the ocean cities, struggling to make enough money to clear her debts and take care of her traumatised sister, scratching a meagre living as best she can.
So she has enough worries without her life getting more complicated…but when a boy named Hattan literally falls from the sky, she can’t just let him drown.
It’s a decision she comes to regret, a decision that will change not only her life, but the lives of everyone she loves.
If they survive…
The Book blurb (above) leaves you with a sense of urgency and a desire to know what is going to happen. I know if I’d read that on the back of a book in the local library I’d be interested in finding out more about Lissa Two and Hattan.
This lovely person (Tony Talbot), allowed me to see this creation in its pre-polished phase. He allowed me to not only read it, but to throw ideas and thoughts at him like a petulant child, AND he actually took some of them on board! Beta reading for Tony was an awesome experience and is one I hope to go through many more times as his collection of books keeps growing.

Where can you buy Medusa?
Amazon has the paperback version currently reduced in price for $9.38 or on kindle for FREE this weekend or $2.99 after that, so pick it up for free while you can! You can also go directly through Createspace for a paperback copy for $11.
In other interesting news, Medusa has been entered into the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award 2014. Best of luck Tony, this book is most certainly a worthy contender. I’ll be keeping an eye out on their ‘important dates’ to watch as you go through to each new round.
Have you ever Beta read for an author? What was your experience like?
