What do you all think of the new look?

Do you prefer this to the old pink theme?

Let me know in the comments how you feel about this change.

  1. Wow, I’m gone for a week with no interwebs and look what happens!

  2. It’s a little startling after the old look! It might grow on me though…

    • I was hoping it came across as somewhat bright and bubbly, instead of quirky and cute. Startling is not the reaction I was going for 😛

Let me know if you get over that initial shock 🙂

  3. I really like this theme – very easy to navigate and very clear 😀 Well done

  4. The new scheme looks less like either personal blog or the blog of a light romance author, so might give a more accurate impression of you as an author.

Personally I favour substance over style, so – apart from my latent neophobia – am neither drawn nor repulsed by the change.

    • Thanks Dave! I had to look up neophobia. You’re always teaching me new words. 🙂

      • I am not sure if it is the same addiction as reading, or a separate one, but I do really like words.

It is great for those times when you want to add variety to prose, but not so useful when I get comments back saying I should replace a nuanced word with a common one.

        • I love words too! I think it’s linked to reading and the appreciation for the language, but on the side on its own.

I figure if people can’t be bothered to look up a word they don’t know that’s their problem, obviously there’s no need to go overboard though. A few distinct words in posts are great!

  5. Really like the new format and love the photo!

  6. I love a nice, clean, simple layout! Love it!
